Under the Grand-ducal regulation of 14 December 2000 concerning the protection of the population against the dangers arising from ionizing radiation, as modified on 21 July 2006, each airline carrying radioactive material above exemption level (excepted packages, Type A, Type B, etc.) to and from the airport of Luxembourg must be authorized to this effect by the Minister of Health.
